HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — Xtreme Raceway Park drivers made a huge impact at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering.
None more so than Jeromy Hefler, who overcome injuries months before to get back in the race car and qualify for the World Finals at the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering and FuelTech hosted by Xtreme Raceway Park.
Once in Mississippi at the World Finals, Hefler raced through eliminations beating fellow Chevy II driver Tony Petersen from Onawa Dragway in the final round. Hefler is also joined on the national top 10 list by Scott Wallace, the IHRA Summit SuperSeries track champion at Xtreme, who finished sixth overall.
Track champions Isaac Fulcher from Beacon Dragway, Bill Casner from Bunker Hill Dragstrip and James McCutcheon from Motor Mile Dragway rounded out the top five. Derrek Thomson, who qualified at the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular at Motor Mile was 10th in the final rundown.
Individual track champions occupied spots No. 7 through 9 with Michael Crowell representing Dragway 42. Tim Adams from Wilkesboro Dragway was eighth and Dustin Chestnut from London Dragway was ninth overall.
